Ira is a founding member of Misfits For Democracy, a progressive phone banking team that utilizes empathetic community building to advocate for justice and a better world. Between 2020 and 2024, Misfits launched campaigns for 10 different political candidates while partnering with All Hands Brigade, PA Stands Up, Sunrise, Democratic Socialists Of America, Korean American Democratic Committee, NEXTGen and many other grassroots organizations.
